Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd. (BSNL) is going to recruit about 3945 Junior Telecom Officers (JTOs) through a competitive examination to be held on 21st June 2009 (Sunday) on the basis of All India written examination. The Test Question Paper will be fully objective type with multiple options as answers to each question. The standard of paper in engineering subjects will be that of Engineering Examination of an Indian University.

Nationality : Only Indian Nationals would be eligible to apply.
Educational Qualifications:JTO(Telecom)Bachelor of Engineering/Bachelor of Technology or equivalent Engineering degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized engineering college/university:Telecommunication, Electronics, Radio, Computer, Electrical. Information TechnologyJTO(Civil)Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology or equivalent in Civil Engineering from a recognized Institution/University.JTO(Electrical)Bachelor of Engineering, Bachelor of Technology or equivalent in Electrical Engineering from a recognized Institution/University.
Candidates appearing in the final year degree examination may also apply provided they possess the required educational qualification by 31.12.2009.
Age: The applicant for JTOs(Telecom), JTOs(Civil) and JTOs(Electrical) should not be more than 30 years.

Selection Procedure :The mode of selection is through an All India Competitive Examination. The examination will be of three hours duration on 21/06/2009. The standard of paper in engineering subjects will be that of Engineering Examination of an Indian University
Application Fee :Rs.750/-in the form of DD drawn in favour of Senior Accounts Officer/Accounts Officer payable at the respective Territorial Telecom Circles where applicant want to apply. No Fee payable by SC/ ST/ PH candidates.
